Bulk printing

Fulfillment does not print one order at a time. Bulk printing takes a set of orders and produces one combined PDF, in the order you need at the packing table.

How to bulk print

  1. In Docket, filter the orders by customer, date range, fulfillment status, or tags, then select the results you want from the current 50-result page.
  2. Choose the document type. Use packing slips for a pick run or invoices for the day’s mail.
  3. Print. Docket generates one combined PDF, one document after another, and you send it to the printer as a single job.

Sequencing is the point

Choose order number or creation date, then ascending or descending. Docket sorts the selected documents by that field before combining their PDFs.

Order filters

Bulk Print currently filters by customer, date range, fulfillment status, and tags. It does not provide free-text order-number or line-item search. Use the Shopify order or draft-order context to find the documents for that resource; the contextual source identifier is keyed before lookup and is never stored raw. The Documents archive has a separate search by frozen document number or document type and does not expose a raw Shopify identifier search.

Draft orders

Draft orders are included: filter them, select them, and bulk print their quotes the same way you print packing slips for real orders. A morning’s worth of quotes can be one run.

Bulk printing generates records

Every document in a bulk run is a full Docket document. Existing PDFs are reused; missing invoices, packing slips, and quotes can be generated from freshly fetched Shopify source data. Credit-note runs only use credit notes already created from refund events. The documents and combined run remain available while Docket is installed. See Where your documents live.

Bulk printing and Unlimited

Bulk printing is included with Unlimited. Docket has no order allowance, document quota, or other usage meter. Every new document-producing write requires a live active Shopify contract; re-printing an existing stored PDF does not create a new document.

What v1 does not include

There are no pick lists in v1. A pick list aggregates items across orders, and that is a different document from a packing slip. If your run needs one, tell support; what merchants ask for shapes what gets built after launch.

One Unlimited subscription, never metered by order count

Unlimited is $9.99 USD monthly or $99.99 USD annually after a 14-day trial. No usage metering.
