The trial and billing
Docket has one Unlimited offering. Choose $9.99 USD monthly or $99.99 USD annually in Shopify. Annual prepayment is two months free compared with monthly billing. Both intervals begin with a Shopify-native 14-day trial after you approve the charge.
The 14-day trial
Shopify controls whether the shop is eligible, when the trial begins, and when it ends. The trial begins only after you select monthly or annual and approve the charge. It includes the whole product.
Docket does not run a separate trial clock or offer routine extensions. Support can correct a verified billing error through a Shopify-supported refund, but the refund does not extend entitlement.
One Unlimited offering
Unlimited includes every document type, auto-delivery, bulk printing, template settings, hosted links, EU VAT and B2B fields, and support.
No usage metering. There are no order allowances, document quotas, credits, or usage events. A busy month does not move you into another tier.
When billing ends
If billing ends while Docket remains installed, your immutable PDF and HTML records, settings, and public customer links remain available. Docket does not retain the Shopify source data used to render them. New document writes and full app access stop, but the Documents screen remains available so you can request a complete archive of every stored PDF. Docket emails the verified store owner a private download link that expires after 30 days. Resubscribe to restore full app access to the same archive.
Uninstalling is different. Shopify’s uninstall and redaction lifecycle triggers delete the shop’s Docket data and export artifacts, former public links return not found, and no archive download remains available after uninstall.
Temporary verification outages
Docket verifies the active Shopify contract before document-producing writes. If Shopify cannot be reached after bounded retries, that write stops with a temporary verification error. The outage is not treated as cancellation: the last known state is not revoked, the archive is not deleted, and existing public links continue to work.
